MUSO SHINDEN-RYU IAIDO

The Muso Shinden-ryu was founded by Nakayama Hakudo, one of the "giants" of the Japanese sword world in the early part of this century. The school is based on the Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu lineage and shares the same general structure. The MSR is one of the most widely spread schools of iaido, and was highly influential in the formation of the All Japan Kendo Federation iaido curriculum.

Participants in this course will enhance their knowledge of techniques unique to the Muso Shinden-ryu, and develop a better understanding of the general principles of swordsmanship applicable to any dojo of any school of Japanese swordsmanship.
